Photos for Vistaprint Photo Book.

Just a random pick of some 26 favourites, of different sizes and editing, to see how they would come out printed in A4 and landscape. There was some post-editing cropping (of these photos) to fit the A4 size.
Very happy with the results, maybe more expensive printing would do a better job?

Mudgee to Warren, testing out the new knee. 4th to 12th Aug.

My specialist finally said it was OK for me to start driving again after my right knee replacement so it was off to Mudgee for some driving practice.
I had also started planning a trip for later in the month to Mount Isa in Qld so I thought I might add a side trip, while in Mudgee, to Warren where I hoped to spend the 1st night of the Qld trip.
Lynn also invited Delle to spend the last weekend at Mudgee with us as it had been a few years since Delle had been up that way.

Gulgong Symbol Trail.
Part of the secret language of 'people of the road'. Gulgong Symbol Trail.   During the Great Depression and in gold rush times, people travelling country roads in search of work, food or just a place to sleep the night, used a secret code of symbols to communicate the 'lie of the land' to fellow travellers. This secret language was used internationally - by the tramps and gypsies of Europe to the hobos of America and the swaggies of Australia.
